Eliminate debris

Sentinel Eliminator
Four cyclones ensure more debris is removed fora cleaner, more efficient system
Sentinel has launched the Eliminator, the first filter to remove magnetic and non-magnetic debris from a central heating system

The Eliminator aims to revolutionise the market by using Quadra-CycloneTM technology. Four powerful hydro-cyclones push clean water into the system, while pushing all kinds of debris down into the collection chamber. Four magnets are used to accelerate the capture and removal of magnetic debris.

Independent tests showed the Eliminator captured 38% more non-magnetic debris and 14.6% more magnetic debris than other products on the market.

Installers can also save valuable time as it is easily fitted in any orientation, with no complex o-rings or special tools required.

After seeking advice from installers, the Eliminator was designed to provide two cleaning options. The debris can simply be removed using the flushing valve, or the whole collection bin can be taken off for a full clean, while providing an easy way to demonstrate to homeowners that the debris is being cleared.

The new product also uses a dual seal to eradicate leaks, and a collection bin which holds 300-400 grams of debris, so an annual service should ensure the bin does not fill up. However, the Eliminator promises continual movement even when the collection unit is full, so installers can be confident that the heating system will not block or suffer damage. They can also count on in-branch support from experienced professionals.

Additionally, the first 10,000 products sold will win a free filter or a bottle of filter aid, which will improve the performance of any system on the market.

The Eliminator is set to retail at the premium end of the market using the best technology available, but will be competitively priced.

“The Eliminator demonstrates our serious commitment to delivering something new into the market place,” said John Lynch, UK and Ireland sales director, Sentinel.

He added: “It offers an innovative and reliable solution to the care, cleaning and maintenance of wet central heating systems.  Installers can have the confidence that this product will meet all of their customer’s expectations in a speedy and straightforward manner.”
