His project, installing an energy-efficient Greenstar 25/32 oil-fired system boiler alongside a Greenskies solar thermal system on a beachfront bungalow in Downderry, Cornwall, won praise from the judges for its replacement of a 25- year old Worcester oil-fired boiler with a new condensing model.
