OFTEC has strengthened both its inspection services and marketing team with the appointment of Samantha Ellis as Marketing and Communications Officer and the expansion of Emma Adams’ role to support the organisation’s inspection services.
Samantha joins OFTEC following a career in charity marketing and communications. She will lead on social media, website management and content creation, helping strengthen communication with registered technicians and the wider heating industry.
Samantha said: “I’m delighted to join OFTEC and look forward to engaging with technicians across the industry and helping to showcase the support and services OFTEC provides.”
Following the departure of Jenny Durrant after eight and a half years with OFTEC to pursue a new career as a veterinary nurse, Emma Adams has expanded her existing part-time role to a full-time position supporting the work of the regional inspection team. Her role includes coordinating initial and routine inspection audits, as well as managing inspection reports and non-conformity feedback, and assisting with inspector invoicing.
Emma commented: “I’m pleased to have recently started a new full-time role in the inspections department and look forward to this next chapter with OFTEC.”
OFTEC thanks Jenny for her valued contribution during her many years with OFTEC and wishes her every success in her new career.
These appointments reinforce OFTEC’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality support and services to registered technicians and the wider heating industry.
