Grant app updates improve functionality for heating professionals

Grant UK has updated its TechBox app, which gives heating professionals access to current and archived manuals and technical resources for Grant products.

Anna Wakefield, Head of Internal Sales and Marketing at Grant UK described the updated app as “better than ever before”.

“We first launched the TechBox nearly a decade ago and have always strived to improve the app while also keeping it simple and relevant,” Anna explains.

Feedback from engineers and installers has helped shape the new version with suggested improvements incorporated alongside popular existing features.

“Not only does the new TechBox have a stylish, updated look and feel, but we have also introduced new features with users in mind,” Anna comments.

New features and functionality

• Faster search – Improved search functionality allows installers and engineers to search for key terms within a PDF to make finding specific sections within a manual quicker.
• Sharing option – Allows users to share PDFs from the app via email, text and WhatsApp.
• Easier access to resources – A new option links to Grant UK’s current brochures and price lists for faster access, while additional subcategories for heat pump technical resources make it easier to display schematics etc.
• Improved design – new imagery, icons and colour scheme give the app a modern, user-friendly look.

Retained functionality

Alongside these new features, retained functions facilitate:

• Tailored downloads – select and download product categories as needed
• Offline use – once downloaded manuals can be accessed without WiFi or internet connection.
• Easy access – straightforward navigation makes finding documents easy.
• Quick links – a ‘Favourites’ option enables fast access to regularly used manuals
• Current and archived content – access to current or archived materials via the ‘Current/Archive’ toggle within each sub-category.

The updated version is available now, with Anna hoping the upgrades “help it remain the ultimate digital toolkit that heating professionals turn to when working with Grant products.”
